National Safety Awareness Month

Each January, the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) and ski resorts nationwide host National Safety Awareness Month, an endeavor strongly supported by Ski California®. NSAA holds annual safety contests and ski resorts, including many in California and Nevada, participate with events to educate skiers and snowboarders about being as safe as possible. It is very important for guests to understand the risks of skiing and snowboarding and learn how to use common sense on the slopes.
